I've been percolating ideas for the Sassy Apron Swap for the past little while. They are finally starting to solidify to the point where I can now write them down and share them (this is how my creative process always goes - rarely is anything put on paper that hasn't buzzed around in my head for a week or two first).

The theme for the apron is Spring and the requirements are that it be washable (and pre-washed) and have a pocket.

I had made up Calorimetry, from Knitty Winter 2006, with my last skein of the Possum Worsted but it was a little too big for my head. I finally got around to frogging it the other day. Now it's just waiting for me to start gain.

Here is my finished hat yarn. I spun the second braid of wool a little more evenly but about the same overall size (so basically with fewer big slubs) than the first skein. I wanted to make sure I'd actually have enough yarn to make my hat. It measured in at forty metres.
