I decided to tidy my studio Sunday afternoon and found some forgotten treasures for my effort. This little plaque finally made it onto the wall.

One box held a carefully collected pile along with a few apron ideas. I think it might be leftover from the swap I did last ...

Pattern: Classic Washcloth from A Knitter's Book of Yarn
Yarn: Knit Picks Crayon in 8051 (blue) and 8054 (green)
Size: 12.5" x 12.5" (32 cm x 32 cm) before washing
Yardage: about 90% of the blue ball and 10% of the green ball (meaning I can make another one with the colours the other way around)
Needles: 3.25 mm bamboo

When Samera showed up at my tea party last month (a wonderful surprise as I thought she was 1800 km away) the first thing she did was present me with goodies. The Heat Arrived

Today I wish I could photograph smells. We're having our first days of really hot weather (hot for us anyway) and everything smells delicious. The air is full of flowers and cut grass and water and earth. The humidity is up and the sun gets a pretty, hazy cast to it. Environment Canada suggested we have a thunderstorm today but so far it hasn't turned up.

We're back.

We got back Saturday evening but I only got as far as downloading my pictures before I ran out of energy. We had a great time camping and I've tried to sum it up in the pictures below but there are lots more over on Flickr.

I'm getting so close to being done Rob's sweater. It's very exciting. I got it out to work on last night after Abby went to bed. I thought I would start into the second set of short-rows; maybe even finish them and do a decrease round or two; while I was at it I might even just finish the neck and cast off; I'd probably put off kitchenering the underarms and weaving in ends ...
