The Second Annual Jane Austen Fancy Dress Tea Party

Due to the particularly fine weather (and the fact that we had all our plant pots and a very dirty barbeque in our dinning room because our landlord wanted to paint the balcony) our tea party became a picnic. We packed up a couple of blankets, napkins, sandwiches, cookies and juice and headed down to the park by the lake.

This used to be part of a skirt. A little while ago I spent some time sorting through my closet and pulling out the things I didn’t or couldn’t wear anymore. This skirt fell into the latter category. I’ve added some new pictures to my photos page. All the pictures are from a couple of tea parties we had over the summer. We made all the dresses and I did my best to make sure each one would be a little different. It was a lot of fun to see everyone all dressed up at the parties. Today after work we cleared off my desk and set up the mini. Rob created a special widget for me - a recipe finder. You wouldn’t believe how many recipes there are for hot cross buns.

Now I have signed up for .mac and I’m starting my own little website. Pretty cool. My next challenge is to pick a picture to replace the default on this template.
