Shelley Thu, 29 Jun 2017 10:03:50 +0100 Wildlife Summer Outside Maisie Abby http://www.inapeanutshell.com/archive/lets-play-outside-and-go-for-a-walk.html <p>We&rsquo;ve been enjoying a bit of warm weather here today and it reminded of a couple of weekends ago when it was also very warm and Maisie asked to &ldquo;play outside and then go for a walk&rdquo;. I&rsquo;m always trying to encourage her to go for walks with me on the weekend. It was easy to do in the summer and fall but now that it&rsquo;s getting colder she&rsquo;s less interested. Any time she suggests it I do my best to jump at the chance to spend time outside with her. So here we are... So delicious. We had fog patches that lasted until noon. Abby had an exciting morning watching two damp squirrels fill up on peanuts from the feeder. I went outside to take some pictures of my gorgeously saturated garden and was able to get within a couple of feet of these guys without them freaking out too much. Thank... It seemed too big for a muskrat but I was seeing it through a stand of willows and never got a clear look at its tail before it went into the water. These tracks were all seen on or near the path to work last week. Some I can recognize, others not.
