This is my second batch of home spun yarn. I made it last Sunday in the afternoon and part of the evening. It feels really nice and is much more even than my first batch.

The roving was left over from Erin’s felting class a few weeks ago (notice the place-mat from December 12th). It has shorter fibers than the brown stuff so I figured it would probably be a little more fiddly to work with and did a little more preparation before I started spinning.

Pattern: 2x2 rib across 28 stitches
Yarn: Suli Fibres Tandoori (wool, silk and sparkle)
Needles: 6.5 mm bamboo

This is just a scarf but I rather like it so I thought I’d put it up. Scarf knitting is especially pleasant

Pattern: The Official Kittyville Hat from  Stitch ‘n Bitch
Yarn: Mission Falls 1824 Wool in #005 Raven.  I used about 2.5 skeins.
Needles: 4.5 mm bamboo 16” circular and DPNs
Modifications: None

Pattern: Hot Head from Stitch ‘n Bitch
Yarn: Brown Sheep Company Lamb’s Pride Bulky in #M05 Onyx, #M110 Orange you Glad, #M155 Lemon Drop and #M180 Ruby Red.
Needles: Size 10 (6 mm) aluminum needles
