After a lot of debate I decided to take part in Ali's Week in the Life project. This week is all about documenting: taking pictures and jotting down thoughts and notes. I thought I would post a few of each for every day this week (Monday through Sunday) as a quick way of recording the project. Next week the idea is to put everything you've collected together somehow. I haven't decided yet how I will do that part. I'm leaning towards making a photobook with the templates Ali has made up but might use templates I already have or just print the photos and do something more glue-and-paper style instead. No matter how this project ends up I think it will be really neat to look back at a few years down the road.

I put a letter in the mail and went to the coffee shop. It was warm and windy all day. I met Rob for lunch but we couldn't get out of our parking spot so we went to the Noodle House for lunch instead of going home. I picked some wild raspberries on my way back to work for dessert. I saw goats on my way home and checked the mailbox (there was nothing in it). I made a dent in the pile of dishes on the counter. Our dishwasher broke a few weeks ago and we're saving up to get a new one. Abby played fetch. Rob played WOW and Minecraft. I made ambrosia salad just because I had all the stuff. Abby watched squirrels in the back yard. My brother called. Abby watched the neighbourhood out the front windows. We had fresh buns and homemade pickles for dinner. Abby and I shared the living room couch: I read, she napped. Rob and I watched an episode of Farscape after Abby went to bed.
