It must be something about the returning sunlight. I just want to start new projects.  Two days ago I started a new pair of socks. Not that I don't have two different socks-in-progress already going right now or anything. But I needed a new one. A bright and colourful one. A simple-but-not-plain one. An I-can-finish-these-quickly-so-I-can-put-off-darning-my-worn-out-socks one.

The yarn is Socks that Rock in a Rare Gem of the Fire family (meaning it is a one off colourway). It's not quite as pink as this in person but also not quite as red as it is in my head. My favourite bits are the teal ones.
