This morning smelled like Vancouver: green and wet and earthy. So delicious. We had fog patches that lasted until noon. Abby had an exciting morning watching two damp squirrels fill up on peanuts from the feeder. I went outside to take some pictures of my gorgeously saturated garden and was able to get within a couple of feet of these guys without them freaking out too much. Thanks to the zoom on my lens I got some really nice shots. Unfortunately my camera cannot capture the sounds they were making at each other while eating; I heard all sorts of squirrelly growls and squeaks about the awfulness of having to share.
