This is my favourite salad at the moment (from the Good Things in the May issue of MS Living). Ribbons of asparagus, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper and parmesan cheese. It's so fresh tasting.

Do you remember this view a few months ago? There was even more green when I walked along the path today.

An event worthy of recording ... my desk was clear.

Meet The Little One (as I refer to him). This is one of our regular squirrels at the feeder right now. He's a bit smaller than the others and has an especially black stripe on his side. I went out to water the tomato plants and he didn't run away.

My first carrot shoots. Almost a week before I expected them too.

One of my tomato plants standing bravely against the strong winds we had on Sunday night. I'm not sure if I should move them to a more sheltered location on the deck or not. I'm afraid that they would end up scorching from the light reflecting off the house.
